Where can you buy it?

Currently, you can buy it On Sephora & Bite Beauty’s website.

Shade range?
There’s 32 shades with the options for several different undertones with each color. I definitely feel like it adapts to your skin a smidge. So if you don’t feel like you nailed the right color, I’d suggest doing a full day wear test. I wasn’t a 100% sure initially but I found that I was okay with it.
Price?
$39.50 USD
Best Place To Snag A Deal?
With the current state of business & economy in the US, I’d always suggest checking brand websites FIRST. I have an affiliate account set up with Bite Beauty and get regular updates on deals. They’ve been V diligent about always having something happening.
Packaging?
Honestly, it resembles a tube that you would squeeze paint from. Like that is my initial reaction to describe it and I can’t think of anything else. There’s no pump. You’re literally just squeezing the product out. The plus side of this is that you’re not going to waste foundation. If you become obsessed, you can get EVERY bit of product out. The downside is that you don’t have as much control over how much product you’re getting out.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

I’ve done a few wear tests with my Bite Beauty Micellar Foundation. The first one I used the run test. It held but it broke up. I think with the right primer and setting combo, there shouldn’t be any issue getting a full day of even wear from this product. But I would ABSOLUTELY make sure you double cleanse.

I always think you should double cleanse at night. Hi, we like glowy skin right? But I found even when I did the initial application that I had to really wash my hands to get the foundation off the back. Otherwise, I could feel the residue.

HOW MUCH DO YOU APPLY & WITH WHAT TOOL?

Less is more with this product. I typically find that with most foundations I need between 1-2 pumps depending on what I’ve layer underneath. With the micellar foundation, I would recommend putting it on something else rather than directly onto your sponge or brush.

Personally, I’ve applied it with both my Real Technique’s sponge & my Crunchi Foundation Brush. I like both but I tend to favor the brush application.

WHAT IS IT SIMILAR TO?

Clean product wise – TBD.

Non-clean – It Cosmetics CC Cream

WHAT’S THE FINISH & COVERAGE LIKE?

Glowy finish with medium to heavy coverage. I don’t think I would want to build up more than a medium coverage with this one. I didn’t have any creasing issues but with a thicker amount, I think you would.

BEST PRIMER TO WEAR UNDERNEATH?

I have normal to dry skin and live in V humid weather. As I’m testing this foundation mid-summer, I’ve chosen my go to event primer (Coola Dawn Patrol Primer). It’s similar to Smash Box Photo Finish without the silicone. Not quite matte. Not quite dewy. So I would say whatever primer you typically wear would work well.

WOULD YOU WEAR IT FOR AN EVENT?

Yes, I would.

WHO WILL LOVE IT?

If you hate SUPER dewy looks but you like a bit of glow, you’re going to love it. Or if you’ve been dying to find a clean option for your It Cosmetics CC Cream.

WHO WILL HATE IT?

If you prefer things matte or are likely to just squeeze a bunch of product out because there isn’t something to regulate the product, skip this one.

WILL I BUY IT AGAIN?

Yes, I will!

ANYTHING ELSE TO KNOW?

So considering it’s hotter than *insert a very southern cliche here* outside, I’m V curious to see how this foundation tests in a few months. You know, when Florida pretends that we do seasons and Fall rolls around. I love the subtle glow this product leaves on my face. Paired with my current highlighter obsession, it’s bringing me daily joy when I actually do my makeup.

Personally, I’m not super fussed about the packaging. I imagine it makes it easier to recycle this way which is a win for me. But I can see how that would be a deterrent for others. And while the packaging makes it seem like you’re getting less product than other clean options on the market, you’re not. Overall, it’s a win in my book so don’t be surprised if you see it in my seasonal makeup bag post in a month!

If you’ve tried the Bite Beauty Micellar Foundation, let us know in the comments below! It’s SUPER helpful to hear from everyone else on what you do and don’t love. While I would love to pretend that I remember to tell you everything about products, I also know that there’s the occasional thing I don’t think about. So help a sister out, would ya?

Ps. If you aren’t following me on Instagram or signed up for the WSS newsletter, now is the time. I’m currently doing random giveaways on stories. And I’ll be doing some hopefully bigger ones via the Newsletter come December. Until next time. Sending you all the positive prayers and hugs! Xoxo, Savvy
