The best piece of advice you’ve heard on the internet lately - I’ll go first.
I’m always asking God & the universe to give the me messages I need. Yesterday was no exception.
I’m stumbled onto this video on tiktok where the advice was essentially
let them tell you no
Don’t be the reason you don’t do something.
Ask for it.
Go for it.
But don’t tell yourself no. Let that fall on someone else.
Don’t be the one who stops your progress by saying no before someone else can.
Sometimes we need the reminder to stop being the obstacle in our own path.
What about you? What’s resonating with you right now?
Meal prep went down in the WSS household last night and here’s what’s on the menu for the next few days.
*save this post for when you’re in need of some need quick healthy ideas*
Instant pot chili - my favorite for using up odd vegetables and easy prep. Plus, it means I can freeze half for later meals
Shredded chicken - a staple for my 15 minute meals. I’ve been using it for Buffalo chicken tacos, spring rolls and Chinese chicken salad
Bacon collards - super easy and a great way to sneak in some greens
Bruschetta chicken - will be on the blog soon!
Mini stuffed pepper - the easiest recipe that I’ll be making on repeat because it ticks all the boxes for me (fat, fiber, protein)
Ps. I used to hate meal prep which is why I much prefer food prep aka chopping up veggies and having 1-2 cooked meats in the fridge. It makes it easier for me to keep a varied diet while also letting my creativity roam
This one’s for the foodies. Today on WSS, I’m sharing the best of gluten free food finds for Seaside, Fl.
Everything from where to go for the best girls night dinner
Who has the best mojito
The tasty vegan & gluten free pizza on 30a
And so much more!
Because we all know a trip to the beach is made even better with delicious food. 😉

We’re back baby!! The latest episode of the WSS podcast is now live and today’s topic of choice: ALCOHOL.
Yep. That one.
Growing up I had a complicated relationship with alcohol. I was a never a partier. The grandma vibes started going.
And I have quite vivid memories of my dad and going through the drive-thru liquor store.
It wasn’t until I was older than I understood there were far bigger things at play like serious mental health issues.
So in today’s episode, I’m sharing my journey with alcohol (why I still choose to drink), how it’s changed over the last few years and of course, my thoughts on Quit Like A Woman.
I can’t wait to dive into this one with you.
