Christmas Gift Ideas Under $50

Categories Christmas

I say this every year but how is it almost Thanksgiving already? I mean I honestly don’t know where the time goes. With all the craziness post Hurricane Michael, October disappeared in a blink. And after a quick glance at the calendar, I was shocked to realize how soon Thanksgiving was coming. Maybe it’s because stores already have more Christmas gift displays than fall and Santa is doing his meet and greets at the mall but it feels like we’ve jumped right from one holiday to the next.

That being said, I love Christmas. It’s one of my favorite times of the year. Over the last few years, I’ve made every effort to spend time enjoying the festivities. And I’m excited to see what new ones I can find this year. I know we aren’t quite to Black Friday and there are a few stores who’ve already started sales. However, I’m just too excited to wait to talk about Christmas gifts.

I do have a few Christmas gift guides coming over the next few weeks. I’m also planning to do Vlogmas and will be talking through a few homemade gift hacks. But if you’re starting to make a list for people or want to make the most of the sales, hopefully my first gift guide will inspire you. Let’s chat Christmas gift ideas under $50!

1. Motown Wireless Speaker*

I don’t think I ever realized how much I use a wireless speaker until I got one. Last year, I mainly used it to play Christmas music while we decorated. But now I use it while I’m getting ready or to play white noise at night. I love the look of this speaker and it would look lovely on a bookshelf. Perfect for an added bit of decor while also being incredibly useful.

2. Scouted By Sephora*

For a majority of the year, I’ve been on a mission to swap my skincare over to cleaner beauty. And while I still occasionally indulge in make up products, my skincare routine has gotten an overhaul. This is the perfect Christmas gift for someone who is looking to try clean beauty, travels a lot or is just a regular skincare junkie. I’ve tried several of the brands and love their products. It’s a gift I would happily give or love to receive.

3. Ren Gift Set*

One of my favorite Christmas gifts is nice bath products. It’s not something I often treat myself to but I love to use them. We don’t really do cold weather in Florida. So this gift set from Ren is the perfect combo with body wash and lotion. The packaging is beautiful and it’s perfect for encouraging a little bit of me time.

If you’re lacking space counter space, it’s perfect for getting you organized and adding a bit of decor to a room. Plus, the wood is a bit more chic than your traditional plastic display.

I don’t think you can ever go wrong with a crossbody. And I love that Free People stocks this vegan leather option. Sometimes you just need a small bag for on the go and this one is perfect. Looking for a Christmas gift for your fitness junkie? This mixer bottle is one of those gifts you didn’t realize you needed until you saw it. If you’re on the go and constantly struggling to get your protein shake blended, this gift is perfect. It’s not a full blender but it’s perfect from saving you from shaker bottle elbow. The bottle is also rechargeable and doesn’t have the pesky whisk to keep track of in your kitchen.

8. Jaclyn Hill x Morphe Palette*

After a few months of use, I’m still obsessed with this palette. It’s the perfect buy for someone who only wants color occasionally or maybe a younger girl starting to get into makeup. The shadows blend out beautifully and the color range means there are tons of looks you can create. I’ve had so much fun trying looks I wouldn’t normally do simply because I had the colors in this palette.

9. Beis Travel Cosmetics Case*

Whenever I look at travel bags, there are two things I always ask: can I fit a palette in this and is there a place for brushes? And this cosmetics cases ticks both boxes. Beis is a newly launched brand by Shay Mitchell and is currently being sold on Nordstrom. But this piece is on my Christmas Wishlist and the perfect gift to give. If you’re a bit more reserved when packing, you might fit more than just make up in this bag. However, I love that it has plenty of room to indulge my overpacking tendencies and it keeps my brushes all in one place.

10. Pai Zodiac Gift Boxes*

In my transition to clean beauty, I decided to try out Pai’s moisturizer. And it’s become a staple in my morning routine. There are a few options as far as go gift boxes available featuring different products. But the day cream is one I’d highly recommend. It’s a great Christmas gift if you want something with a bit more product and Pai makes amazing skincare.

11. Smith & Cult Nail Polish*

I finally broke down in September and bought my first Smith & Cult nail polish. It’d been on my wishlist for ages but I couldn’t ever convince myself to splurge. But I’m so glad I finally did. And while I’m still a fan of a gel mani because I can’t keep polish on my fingers to save my life, I’ve been obsessed with S&C for my toes. It lasts forever and the colors are beautiful. If you’re looking to treat a friend to a nice Christmas gift, I’d highly recommend snagging one of their polishes.

12. Delicate Set Of Three Necklaces*

I love a bit of delicate jewelry. Something that works with everything but still makes a statement is up my street. Plus, I find I tend to wear those pieces more than chunkier jewelry. This necklace set is a beautiful combo and works for every day. If you aren’t sure what Christmas gift to buy her or want to shop for yourself, I think this is a winner. And it’s definitely on my shopping list this year.

And it’s easy to store with added rope.

Over the last year or so, I’ve come to rely heavily on sleep masks. I know if I want to sleep past the morning sunshine, I need the extra help. And since I’ve fallen in love with my silk pillowcase, I have no doubt this sleep mask will be just as amazing. Whether you travel a lot, have trouble sleeping or just want to upgrade, Slip’s silk sleep mask is a great option.

17. The New York Times Explorer*

I’ve traveled quite a bit this year but I’m hoping to do even more next year. And one of my favorite places to get inspiration from is the New York times travel books. This one is new to me and is on my list to buy for a friend. But it’s the perfect gift if you like to explore to just want to get ideas about places to go.

18. Jaden Ribbed Fringe Blanket Scarf*

At this point, I don’t think I’d buy a scarf that wasn’t a blanket scarf. They are just so versatile and perfect keeping you extra warm. I love a good neutral scarf that can be worn with anything. So this fringe one is a great option! I’m also a bit obsessed with the blush pink tone.

19. The World Awaits Travel Set*

How cute is this travel set?! I know Anthropologie has a few of these options available. If you’d like a more colorful set or something not pink, they make those too. But I love added bit of fun on my luggage making it even easier to spot in the airport. Win win!

20. Skin Gym Jade Facial Roller*

For all those late nights binge watching Christmas movies or even just for a bit of extra skincare, you need a jade roller in your life. It’s great at helping with puffiness. And if you pop it in the fridge, it works even better at soothing your skin. The little side is ideal for around your eye while the larger side works for your jaw and cheeks. I have one and I love it. Plus, it’s a nice reminder to take a few extra minutes to slow down and care for myself during the day.

21. Beautycounter Body Butter in Citrus Mimosa*

My beautiful friend Amy gave me a jar of this for my birthday and I’ve been obsessed every since. It’s not too strong but it’s also super hydrating. If you’re like me and prefer oil & body butter over lotion, you need this in your life. And it’s another in the clean beauty swaps I’ve made this year highly recommend. Do yourself a favor and gift this to a friend. They will be just as obsessed in no time.

22. Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Palette*

We know I’m a sucker for a pretty eyeshadow palette by now, right? And after I bought my morphe one this summer, I didn’t think I’d find one to buy so soon. But the Norvina palette is a dream. 25. Hydro Flask 12-Ounce Coffee Mug*

And last but not least, I can’t forget my coffee & tea drinking gals. I know Keep Cups have been all the rage this year. But personally, I’ve found they don’t keep things hot for very long. If you’ve already jumped on the Hydro Flask train, you’ll know how amazing they are at maintaining temp. So why not invest in a mug that will do the same for your coffee? I’ve got this one on my Christmas gift list for a few people and I know they will love it. It’s a wonderful way to make an effort at going greener in the New Year and keeping your drink hot for a long time. Who doesn’t love a gift that can multi-task?
