When it comes to fashion, I live somewhere between style and comfort. I will throw on the shapewear, step into my 4-inch heels, and wear the tight dress when the day/energy calls for it. But the other 50% of the time, it’s comfort all the way.
Which is why when Honeylove asked to sponsor this post, it was an immediate yes. The company that snatches my waist, smooths out my curves, and knows how to make shapewear for a curvy body (shocking how rare that is) but also makes my go-to everyday bras? Of course, we need an in-depth debrief to talk about them.

Honeylove Wire-Free Bra Detailed Review
Now, if you’ve been around the blog, you’ll know I’ve already done one review of them. Originally, we focused more on the shapewear and bodysuit. However, they have kindly sent me SO many bras which means I can give you a very detailed, very Savvy (nitpicky) review so you know how to shop.
And as we’re coming into the Holiday season, I’m happy to let you know that today kicks off their Black Friday preview sale running until November 26th. You can get up to 60% off site-wide.
As always, my link does get you 20% off (which can be stacked with the sale). You have to use the link(s) to get the discount (no code). But for an extra bonus, you can also buy your favorite bra in a bundle and save even more. 10/10 recommend for getting the best deal and stocking.

*Pre-warning for this review: I’m sure there are things I’ll forget to cover when it comes to niche-fitting issues. Feel free to drop a comment with a question, send a DM or ask the team at Honeylove. They are great at helping you find the perfect fit.

Honeylove Bras Are Just Better
While there are some notable differences between all of the Honeylove bras, it’s worth establishing that they all have a smoothing effect. It’s what makes them more comfortable but also better fitting than your average lingerie store bra.
This does mean that the bands for most of the bras are over 2 inches under your arms. But it also means that you don’t have to worry about added back rolls that come from bands that dig in (and eventually stretch out a ton).
The first time I tried on my tightest shirt with the Crossover Bra, I couldn’t quite believe it. In all honesty, it felt like a commercial moment. I’ve never had a bra fit so well and make me feel even more confident in a fitted tee.
There are some differences in the clasping (some have 2 hooks vs 4 hooks, others have zero). But we will get into those specifics with each bra. For now, just know that your back will look even smoother and your bra more comfortable simply because you’re wearing a Honeylove Bra.

CloudEmbrace Bra
This is probably the closest to a traditional bra you’ll find with Honeylove Wire-Free Bra. The memory foam in the cups helps give lift and shape to your boobs. But in a way that is comfortable and works with the most outfits.
I’d equate this as most similar to a push-up bra. Even those of us who are less blessed will have cleavage with this one. I think this comes in as my 2nd most-worn Honeylove bra.
It’s also the most flexible for me when it comes to finding a bra that is low-cut enough in their range.
The one thing you’ll notice in today’s review is that for the most part, the Honeylove bras work great with a variety of boob shapes. More on than in a moment.
But if like me, you carry lower and find that you often fill out the bottom of the cup but there’s still room (maybe a bit too much in the top), this is the perfect option.
That being said the CloudEmbrace bra is perfect for more of the traditional bra shaping and lifting but without a wire digging in. You can adjust the straps so you have a comfortable option that works with razorbacks, single shoulder outfits, and more. It really is just the best.
I will say that it’s worth noting – you need a few wears to settle into this bra. It can feel a bit tight, but after your first few wears, the band will relax just enough that it’s perfect for your body.
*This is a great everyday bra if you’re a fashion girly who needs something that works with various straps and cuts.
**The straps on this bra are adjustable and can be swapped around.

Crossover Bra
There are two types of Crossover Bras (regular & v-neck). You can see exactly how much of a difference there is between the two if you look above at the black & white bra combo. I’m wearing both in the photo. But this is the bra that first hooked me on Honeylove bras in general.
It’s honestly so comfortable that you’ll wonder why you waited so long to believe the hype.
I’d say this leans more bralette but with better support.
Honeylove considers this to be a Moderate To High Support bra. And I would agree.
Like the CloudEmbrace, the straps are adjustable with this one. However, I do find that I have to pay attention to how low my top is; otherwise, you’ll see the top lace portion. But let’s talk about the V-Neck because there are a few notable differences.
*This bra is for the girl who wants support and comfort.
**The straps on this bra are adjustable and can be swapped around.

Crossover V-Neck Bra
Firstly, the straps sit more in on the shoulders than the basic crossover bra. This might not matter to you, but as a pear-shaped girly, bras are a struggle for me because my shoulders are naturally narrower on my body.
I’ll talk through size recommendations for each bra in a moment, but for the V-Neck bra, I’d say this is great if you feel like you have issues when you need to go up a bra width. I often find that a wider band means straps that I’m constantly fighting with to keep at a comfortable angle on my shoulders. But the slightly more inset straps make that a non-issue with this bra.
Of course, the other thing is the depth in the front. Really, it doesn’t seem like a ton. And even while trying these on again to shoot, I had to hold the bras up to my body to check the differences.
The best way I can describe it easily is to say that if I was wearing a robe, you’d get maybe the slightest glimpse of the top of the lace. However, with the regular, you would see the top lace.
But if you want comfort with a light lift, I’d say 100/10 go for the Crossover Bra (regular or V-Neck).
Other details to note: this bra is designed to give you comfort and support without creating a back or underarm bulge. See the photo below if you want to see it in action.
*This bra is perfect for the girl who wants support, comfort, and needs a bra that works with various shirt styles & cuts.
**The straps on this bra are adjustable and can be swapped around.

Softform Bra
This bra is made with Honeylove’s softest fabric – a nylon/spandex blend created to make it feel like a second skin. And honestly, it feels like wearing air.
Because this bra is a pull-over one, I wasn’t sure that I would love it. Try as I might, I struggle not to get make up on everything I have to pull on.
However, I think this bra will be the hidden winner for the girls who really want to not feel like they are wearing a bra but also want support.
This bra has removable cups, which I personally love. I will take all the help I can get in shaping my boobs, so I’m happy to have them. But if you prefer unpadded bras, it’s an easy switch.
The straps on this bra are wider, and there is no hook. So your adjustment options with this one aren’t available. However, I often find that when you can’t “adjust” your bra, they build them in a way that almost feels suffocating. And this one doesn’t feel like that at all.
For my fellow narrow-shoulder girlies, I was pleasantly surprised that this was a perfect fit. I have already claimed this as my travel bra. It really does feel like a second skin.
*This bra is perfect for the girl who wants comfort & lift but never wants to feel like she’s wearing a bra.

Silhouette Bra
If you want help shaping your boobs but don’t really enjoy the lift, the Silhouette Bra is perfect.
Here’s the thing about Honeylove bras: unless someone tells me there is a removable cup in it, I would never guess it. They are that well-designed and seamless.
So when the team let me know this actually has cups to help shape (I’d assumed it was just pure magic), I was shocked.
When did we start making cups in bras that feel so effortless and elegant?
Now this bra is designed with side boning to give lift and shape. So you still get the support you love but without having to worry about a wire in your bra that will wear out (or eventually poke through).
This bra is perfect for support, comfort, and shaping. It comes in 10 colors so you have the perfect one for every outfit. It also has a stretch silicone design to help prevent it from shifting. This means you can be supported with every movement without having to fight your bra to stay in place.
**The straps on this bra are adjustable and can be swapped around.

CrossFlex Activity Bra
This bra is Honeylove’s version of a sports bra to keep you supported and comfortable no matter your activity. It’s built for moderate to high-impact workouts.
If I were someone who had a larger cup size and wanted comfort and support, this is the bra I would choose. And you can tell it’s built with that in mind.
Of all the bras, this is the only one with additional padding behind the hooks to make sure that you have comfort from every angle. The straps are noticeably thicker at the top.
And you can tell, the cup shape is more defined.
A bra that gives incredible support and great shaping? Sign me up!
Now, as someone who carries a lower boob shape, this is probably my least-worn bra because I simply don’t have what it takes to fill out the cups. I’m better at filling out a balconette bra so I find there’s a touch more room than works for my body type.
But for my friends who carry higher or fuller, I know this would be amazing.
**The straps on this are adjustable but not movable.

Caring For Your Honeylove Wire-Free Bras
Don’t be like me (with my original bra) and not pay attention. Just like shapewear, you do have to care for it to maintain its quality. Honeylove suggests that you hand-wash and line-dry.
But we’re friends, so I’ll be honest: I would never have a clean bra if I had to hand-wash it.
Washing my makeup brushes (consistently) is already too time-consuming.
But you can probably get away with a cold hand-wash setting on the washing machine, and then hanging it to dry. I would also recommend washing your bras in a lingerie bag if you aren’t already.
Sizing Recommendations For Honeylove Bras
Honeylove Wire-Free Bra sizing is on par with other brands. So, keeping in mind issues you might have when going up or down in cup sizes or band sizes, here’s what I would suggest.
I wear a 36C in bras, and these are the sizes I go for.
CloudEmbrace – 36C
Crossover V-Neck – Large
Softform – Large
Silhouette – Large
CrossFlex Activity – Large
Now, I will say the website does ask for your specific sizing. And it will automatch you to their equivalent. So all of the above work for a 36C but you might see a small/medium/large/etc label in your bra when you get it.
Should You Size Up Or Down For Honeylove Wire-Free Bra?
In my personal experience, I went down. As with so many things, I sit between sizes. But the difference when going up a band size vs a cup size can make things uncomfortable in an unexpected way.
Going up a band size tends to shift the cup placement but also the width. Which means instead of having the extra inch you want on your back to make it fit more comfortably, you actually end up with cups pushing into your underarms.
Going up a cup size creates a more obvious gaping when you don’t have the boobs to fill out the cup or the right bra.
Which Honeylove Wire-Free Bra Should You Try Based On Your Boob Shape?
Given my personal preference for how I like my boobs to be shaped in my outfits (lifted, evenly shaped & defined – no uni-boob), here’s what I would suggest based on breast shape.
If you carry lower – Crossover V-Neck Bra, Silhouette Bra or CloudEmbrace
If you carry wider – Crossover Bra, Softform Bra, or CloudEmbrace
If you are rounder – Crossover Bra, Silhouette Bra, Softform Bra, CloudEmbrace or Crossover Activity Bra
Okay! We have covered so much today.
