What does mom really want? – A Guide to Mother’s Day Shopping

Categories Food, Life

Happy Mother’s Day to all of you mothers out there! Whether your child has fur & four legs or they are a bit more mobile and even more stubborn, I wish you the best! I’ve been scouring William Sonoma & Sur La Table with hopes that I can find something that my mother will love and is in my budget. So what does one buy the woman who has it all? Well, I’ll let you know when she tells me what she wants tomorrow. But for now, here are a few suggestions on something your mom might love. 🙂

I don’t know about your mom but mine loves coffee. She tends to prefer her coffee black but on occasion she will change it up. I got this nespresso as a graduation gift from her from college and I love it. I may have traded in my baby coffee maker in for a french press & pour over coffee but this beauty still has a place on my counter. The milk frother is great. Who doesn’t want to be able to make their own lattes and stay in the pjs?

AeroGarden Harvest Touch with Gourmet Herbs Seed Pod Kit

I’ve been drooling over this one for a bit. This indoor garden allows you to grow flowers, herbs and other items indoors. With a watering and light system, it’s hard to not have a green thumb. My mother loves her flowers so this would be a great way to keep her favorites growing year round.

And now we are officially dreaming big. My mother has been looking at the copper version of this beauty for months. High speed and ready to pretty much blend up anything you give it, the Vitamix is known for being generally awesome. Who doesn’t want to buy something like this for their mom?

Other suggestions for gifts:

Gift certificate for a massage or mani/pedi

What gift are you getting you mother? Or if your a mom, what gift are you hoping to get?

However you choose to celebrate, I wish you and your loved ones a Happy Mother’s Day!
