Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: My 2020 Picks, Wishlist + Last Minute Gift Ideas

Categories Style

Happy Nordstrom sale friends! For the last few years, the anniversary sale has almost felt like a mid-summer black Friday. Everyone hyping it up. A MILLION things being recommended on instagram. It’s a lot. But thankfully the very smart ladies and gents behind the curtain at Nordstrom have granted us with preview access this year. Meaning I’ve been looking through the store over the past few weeks to create today’s line up.

Truthfully, I’ve found the selection to be a bit underwhelming this year. Some of my faves that are typically on sale didn’t make the cut this year while a few others I’ve been eyeing for ages *I’m looking at you Barefoot Dreams blanket* are holding strong. Nevertheless, today’s list is broken up into 3 parts: my favorites, my wishlist and a few things to snag for those last minute gifts you’ll need come Christmas. It’s time to shop with intention my friends. Let’s dig in!

My Faves

If you’ve been following the blog or WSS on instagram for a while now, this is pretty much my day in a row. Or my quarantine. You pick. I’m obsessed with my hydroflask. It’s been a travel essential for the last few years. I always go through airport security with it. It’s went with me across the world (literally) last year. And now I think I need it in purple.

As far as hair ties go, I’m a slip convert. I’m excited to stock up on some more so thank you Nordstrom Anniversary sale. They are one of many things that helped me in my hair journey to repair all the damage. And when it comes to natural deodorant my long time fave has been Kopari. I’ve tried and hated LOADS of others. They were either too tough on my skin or they didn’t work.

The Coola sunscreen is another every day item as I’ve upped my running over the last few months. It lasts well, protects my skin and smells lovely. And of course, the slip pillowcases are an obsession. I’m due to update you all on what’s in my travel suitcase but I don’t go anywhere without one of these. They are LUSH.

The Gifts

In the WSS household, we have a few staple back up gifts. Candles are always in stock. But I’ve added a few things to the mix that I either love and use a version of constantly (like the Tumi backpack). Or things that can easily be customized or paired with a note to make someone feel extra loved!

If you’re shopping the Nordstrom sale, let us know in the comments below what you’ve snagged! All this online shopping has me V excited for Christmas shopping in the next few months. Sending you all the love and positive vibes. Until next time. Xoxo, Savvy
