Petit Vour Beauty Subscription Box ReviewCategories Beauty
Slowly but surely over the last 12 months, I’ve made strides in changing my beauty game. I’ve decluttered my make up collection more than once, switched up my skincare routine to find a happy medium and I’ve even gone non-toxic with my nail polish. Well mostly but sometimes it’s hard to beat a gel mani, ya know?
But after several months of meh beauty subscription boxes, I knew it was time for a change. So I went on the hunt with a few thoughts in mind. I wanted something preferably non-toxic and cruelty free. It needed to be affordable because I love samples but not THAT much. And ideally, I wanted something that offered a nice point system for purchases like Ulta or Birchbox. Enter Petit Vour.
What Is It?
Petit Vour offers a monthly cruelty free, plant based and non-toxic beauty subscription box. It comes with 4 products that are valued between $45-$60 and are chosen based on your beauty profile.
Who’s It For?
Anyone who is looking to get into non-toxic beauty, enjoys cruelty free products or just loves a good sample. So far in my clean beauty endeavors, I’ve found that reviews are harder to come by for non-toxic beauty. So I appreciate that Petit Vour gives you the opportunity to try products without wasting tons of money.
What’s Different About It?
Over the years, I’ve tried a fair amount of beauty subscription boxes like Birchbox & Ipsy And I stopped both for different reasons. But the thing I love about Petit Vour is the quality of products they offer and the thoroughness of their questions. Everything from lip color preference to hair color is covered in their beauty profile.
WHAT WAS IN THE BOX?
I received a concealer, a body scrub, a lotion and another skincare product. Surprisingly, I enjoyed the concealer and found it matched really well to my skin. I’ve yet to fully try the other products but I’m looking forward to it!
WHERE IS IT AVAILABLE?
Petit Vour’s beauty box is available internationally. However, there are 3 options: USA, Canada & Worldwide. Each features different pricing depending on location.
WHAT’S THE SHIPPING COST?
Shipping is included in the cost of the box. However, it’s fairly reasonable considering the value of products always exceeds the monthly cost. The box is valued at between $45-$60 with the most expensive box coming in at $25 per month.
WHAT’S THE COST?
Depending on how you choose to buy, you can get Petit Vour’s monthly beauty box at a discount. A yearly plan saves you per box over the monthly option. USA boxes range from $18 monthly to $180 per year. Canadians can expect to pay $23 per month of $240 per year. And international friends, you can expect to pay $25 per month or $264 per year.
HOW LONG DID I TRY IT?
This was my first box and was very kindly gifted to me by the Petit Vour team when I reached out about my holiday subscription box post. I’ve had Petit Vour on my radar for a while now but with all the travel of the last few months and building a new life post Hurricane Michael, setting up a subscription got put on the back burner. However, I do plan to subscribe and continue to try products over the next year.
WILL I CONTINUE TO USE IT?
Yes! If I’m honest, Petit Vour is the first subscription box I’ve been really excited about trying in a while. With the exceptions for Causebox & Vinebox since I’m still hoping to try those soon.
I’ve been testing quite a few cruelty free & non-toxic make up products over the last month. And for the most part, I’ve enjoyed them. So based on the previous boxes, I’m looking forward to seeing what Petit Vour sends out monthly.
