Strawberry Froze is officially the summer drink I didn’t know I needed in my life until now. First off, I’m a visual gal and it’s just SO pretty. But it also gives me all the nostalgia vibes of icy drinks from Sonic during the extreme Florida summer heat. Except now I can upgrade it a bit with some rose. Yes, please!
Whether you’re entertaining via a virtual party (meaning more strawberry froze for you), in person or just in the mood for a fun evening drink, the recipe is incredibly adaptable. And as the resident refined sugar free friend, we need to talk about the essential ingredient for this one: wine.
For today’s recipe, I’ve used Fitvine‘s Rose. But you could also use one from Dry Farm Wines or Scout & Cellar. All are WSS approved and stock paleo friendly wine options. The ideal rose for our purposes is one that tastes lovely but is also low in residual sugar. It means you’re less likely to get that hangover or blow your keto streak.
As of now, most of the places to snag low sugar wine options are online. But if you’re looking to shop within a certain budget, Fitvine or Scout & Cellar will be you best bet since they let you buy single bottles rather than bulk shopping. You can also find Fitvine at Whole Foods, some liquor stores and Publix. *not an ad, just sharing the knowledge*
