THe Best Midi Knit Dresses To Style For Fall

Business Casual

When I was a 9-5 gal, I though my wardrobe was limited to skirts and occasional pant find. But if I had to do it again now, you’d find me wearing mostly midi knit dresses from September to March. We know I love a blazer so Elisabetta Franchi orange dress blends two of my favorite things. Of course, we have a Staud two tone option. And as an added bonus, a few burnt orange dresses that are perfect for my bougie on a budget babes.

EVERY DAY CASUAL

The best part about midi knit dresses is that they double your casual wardrobe options. So on the days you want a quick and easy look, you’re taken care of. But on the days you’re looking to expand your wardrobe a bit, they double as a skirt. Seriously, I spent 5 minutes staring at a photo earlier today trying to figure out what skirt I was wearing only to remember I’d used a knit dress for my look.

The Intermix tan dress has such a fun texture. While the Staud stripes give a bit of every day casual – for my non heels wearing gals, I could see this pairing well with converse. And of course, there are days were you just want a simple black option. My go to when I’m overthinking everything in my closet for a night out!

Date Night

Did we think that there was going to be a blog post without a pink look? Doubtful. I love the back detail on the Rag & Bone midi knit dress. The one shoulder feature on the Enza Costa green dress adds a bit of sexiness for date night chic. And of course, I immediately added the Joslin Studio’s grey dress to my cart – soon to be in my closet this week!

FALL ESSENTIALS

A pink dress with a faux fur trim is a vibe I can get behind. The Rotate blue dress has natural shadows and shaping which pairs perfectly with its chic, simple elegance. I also couldn’t do a midi knit dresses post without a few Self Portrait options because they are the masters of the design. I fell in love with their dresses last fall when prepping for my Rent The Runway post and this pink dress is reminiscent of my favorite orange one.

Luxury Vibes

Ya’ll I can’t get over some of these pieces. To me luxury fashion is about wearing art. Pieces that both speak to the artist who designed them but also the art of the human body. The white Herve Leger is made of dreams. I have a growing obsession with Balmain pieces. I’m a sucker for a sparkly dress as well as a blue one. And the neck detailing of the Self Portrait dress is to die for. As you can see, the creativity for midi knit dresses is not limited by any means.
