HELLLOOO Black Friday. Except it’s Tuesday. And we have some shopping to do. If you time it right, Black Friday is often one of the best times of year to shop. Brands that traditionally don’t have sales will jump into the fun. So today I’m rounding up where I’m shopping, the best deals, a few mini shopping guides, how make sure you’re getting THE best deal and everything else I think you need to know. Happy Black Friday/Thanksgiving friends!
The Best Of Black Friday Deals
Clothes, Shoes & Accessories
Nordstrom
There are a few reasons I love to shop Nordstrom when it comes to Black Friday sales. Firstly, they price match on their website which makes it easier to know that you’re getting a great deal. Secondly, they carry SO many brands. Nordstrom rewards are pretty great so building up cashback during the sale means you have the chance to splurge for yourself come new year.
My top picks for shopping Nordstrom: shoes, jackets and jewelry
Brands like Monica Vinader and Bauble Bar have some of my favorite staple jewelry pieces. The jacket options are INCREDIBLE. If you want a chic, Olivia Pope like coat, this is the time to snag it.
Schutz
If you’ve been around the blog for a minute, you’ll probably know I have a thing for shoes. And Schutz is one of my go-to brands. They are doing a lovely 30% for their sale this year. So if you’ve been eyeing up my platform pumps now is the time to shop!
Abercrombie
We know I love an Abercrombie moment. I have two blog posts dedicated to my obsession. If you haven’t read my sizing review of their curve love line, it’s a great place to start. But they also have some of my go-to fall capsule wardrobe pieces (full guide here). If you’re a member, they are offering 30% off during the early sale which is the best of the year!
Macy’s
Like Nordstrom, Macy’s has an incredible selection. But their sale on Uggs and Cashmere has caught my eye. They have up to 70% off their daily specials but you can get an additional 20% off with code BLKFRI.
ShopBop
The Shopbop sale definitely feels like it’s worth it’s own guide so make sure you’re subscribed to the Newsletter for that later this week. But they have 25% off storewide with the code HOLIDAY. Whether you’ve been eyeing up that special pair of shoes or a more lux cardigan, the options here are bountiful.
Tory Burch
TB has been having a bit of a rebirth for me over the last year. And I have to say I’m quite excited about their Black Friday sale this year. Whether you’re on the hunt for a pair of lux boots, a chic tote, some fabulous flats, or a unique over-the-shoulder bag, I’m loving what they are creating. The sale is selective with 30% off select items and up to 50% off sale items. But it’s the perfect place to shop for yourself or a loved one.
Athleta
I’ve been an Athleta girlie for a few years now. But when I really started running more, I truly became a loyal fan. Finding leggings that stand the test of time of stay snug when your hip-to-waist ratio is a bit much is the ultimate test for me. They have up to 60% off for their Black Friday sale. I’ve done a full review of my go-to leggings but I’m definitely on the hunt for more outdoor running gear. Their products are always a great investment and the perfect gift for your favorite fitness friend.
Jcrew
No one does Black Friday quite like JCrew with their 50% off sale. This is one of my favorite places to shop for staple pieces and gifts. There are a few items on my Christmas wishlist from here as well. The classic unstructured blazer (my summer styling obsession), all things plaid as well as a fun button-down are at the top of my favorites list. Don’t forget to use code SHOPEARLY to save.
Net-A-Porter
By now, we know I have a love for Self-Portrait dresses. They are such a classic. Luckily for us, they are also up to 50% off in the Black Friday sale. With over 300 pages, there are so many incredible luxury finds. I have several dresses in my cart – I’m obsessed.
Tech & Home Things
Amazon
There are two things I typically go to Amazon for when it comes to Black Friday shopping – kitchen appliances and home things. You can often find air fryers, convection ovens, espresso machines, etc on sale. There are also great deals on refurbished Vitamixes.
But the biggest tip I can give you is to make sure you’ve downloaded Honey before shopping. This cashback and savings app will help you know if you’re really getting the best deal. If there’s another site with better savings, you’ll know. You can also see the price history of items and track them for future savings.
Target
If you’re a new content creator or someone who wants to dabble with storytelling online, Black Friday is the perfect chance to score a deal on gear. I’ve seen quite a few “content creator” packages this year. Additionally, Target is amazing for finding amazing savings on books, movies, tv shows, and games.
My cart is already packed with tons of things with their buy two get one free deal. I am forever a sucker for owning physical copies of my favorite shows and this is the perfect time to add to our library. They also make for great stocking stuffers.
Wal-mart
If you’re a tiktok girlie, you’ll know walking pads have been all the rage this summer. I’m currently writing today’s post from our tread desk setup. So if you’ve been looking for a way to get your extra steps in, they have walking pads available for under $300. And if you’re extra motivated or looking to track all the things, Apple Watches are on sale as well. Just don’t forget the ankle band so you can walk, work and still get credit!
Beauty & Gifts
Sephora
While Sephora doesn’t exactly do Black Friday, they are offering a cyber week sale this year with a different brand each day. The sale goes Monday to Monday with a new brand or two offering 25% off their products. Today is Lancome. Still to come this week: It Cosmetics, Sunday Riley, Peter Thomas Roth, Kiehls, Beautyblender, Tarte, BondiBoost, Kate Somerville, Mario Badescu, St. Tropez, Fenty Beauty & Fresh.
Saks 5th Avenue
This a sale I don’t see as many people chatting about but it’s incredible for those looking to save on luxury beauty & skincare during Black Friday – shopping at Saks 5th Avenue. Whether you’re a clean beauty lover, in need of a new batch of slip scrunchies, or in the mood to treat yourself, the options are incredible. Add in the extra cashback bonus by using Rakuten (12% back at the time of posting) and it’s such a win!
Things I picked up: Cle De Paue Radiant Cream Foundation, a gorgeous green Loeffler Randall clutch, slip scrunchies of course, ear muffs (I’m manifesting a NYC trip asap), and a foot mask.
Ulta
If there’s one company you know is going to slay the Black Friday beauty game, it’s Ulta. Their sale includes everything from best-selling lip products and mascara to high-end skincare brands like Perricone MD. Additionally, makeup artist staples and holy grail brands like Mac, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Tarte, and Dry Bar are included in the sale.
Anthropologie
The first place I search for gift inspiration every year is Anthropologie. They are also my top pick for what I’m buying my friends. Everything from candles to cute mugs to cookbooks and gift sets is typically 30% off. If you have someone that feels impossible to shop for, the chances that you’ll find something unique and perfect here are high. And if you’re looking for inspiration, be sure to check out my Christmas gifts under $50 post.
With so many sales going on, I hope that this makes shopping this Black Friday a bit easier for you. I’ll be updating as more things come out but make sure you’re subscribed to the newsletter for the upcoming gift guides – my Christmas Wishlist, What To Buy Mom For Christmas, and My Ultimate Holiday Gift Guide.
If you missed it, gifts under $50 and my favorite advent calendars are already live. There’s so much holiday content to come. I can’t wait to share it all with you! Until next time. Xoxo, Savvy
