DITCH THE LIMITING BELIEFS

If there’s anything that will stop your runner progress fast, it’s the belief that you’re not meant to run. Or that running has to be hard.

LEARN YOUR PACE

I feel like the one thing that makes people think they can’t run is that they end up sprinting without meaning to and run out of gas. If you feel like you’re always dying or not really able to be consistent with a run, it’s likely that you aren’t truly pacing yourself.

LEARN YOUR FUEL

Now depending on the time of day you’re looking to run, this may vary. But of all the activities I’ve tried over the years, there is nothing fun about running on a full stomach. Ever.

LEARN YOUR BREATH

Taking the time to really tune into your breathing and your exertion will help you be consistent but also show you when you can push yourself.
