When it comes to shopping for mom, I always feel like a bit of extra attention and care is needed. They do so much for us. So why not take a bit of extra time when shopping for them this holiday season? Which is why today I’ve done that work for you with gifts that fit every budget. If you’re on the hunt for what to buy mom for Christmas this year, I’ve got you covered. Happy shopping friends!
What To Buy Mom For Christmas
I’ve rounded up quite a few things. You can find everything at the bottom of today’s guide but first, let me highlight a few of my top picks.
Theragun Mini
This has been on my personal wishlist for a while and recently made its way into my life. I was convinced that I would need to splurge on the larger one but I honestly couldn’t be happier with the mini. It’s amazing for breaking up shoulder tension from stress, releasing muscle soreness from a tough run/leg day, and as a bit of self-care for the body that does so much for me. I have it in the sand color and it’s gorgeous, functional, and perfectly compact.
Tripod
If there’s anything that we know, moms don’t always make it in the photo. But they take quite a few of them. This tripod is perfect whether you like to capture everything with your phone or a camera. It’s a great way to get everyone in the video opening presents on Christmas morning or around the tree for a family photo. Bonus points for my friends on a budget – it’s under $50.
Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones
I think I’ve managed to rave about these headphones every year for the last 5 because I’m still obsessed. Whether working from home, listening to a spicy audiobook, or trying to learn to meditate in 2023, these are perfect for creating your own bit of calm in the chaos.
I truly don’t think I could fly without these ever again because they just make it so much more peaceful. Working in coffee shops, editing with dogs barking in the background, or just needing a bit of extra calm, noise-canceling headphones are a game changer.
Audiobook Subscription
This is perfect for the woman who wants to read more in 2023, just joined a book club, is looking to level up her self-development game or maybe she’s just in need of a bit of escape. Booktok has my TBR list overflowing with recommendations.
Now, of course, there’s the traditional audiobook option – audible. If your mom loves original content and enjoys both popular and obscure stories, audible is great. There’s additional free content available on top of the monthly credit option.
For the more casual listener who also enjoys supporting small businesses, Libro.Fm is fantastic. You can choose the bookstore you support every month with your purchase. It’s around $15 per month for your credit with an additional 30% off audiobook purchases as well as gifts. This is one of my favorite things to gift as well as to use because I’m getting to support some of my favorite small businesses in my community.
Self-Heating Coffee Cup
For the mom who is always re-heating her cup of coffee or forever setting it down only to need a fresh, hot cup again, the ember cup is perfect. On its own, it keeps the contents warm but has a wireless coaster to charge your cup. Perfect for keeping hot chocolate, tea, and coffee warm this winter without the needing to put your cup on a warmer at your desk.
Wireless Photo Printer
While I love having all the digital copies of photos, I do miss being able to look through my year without endless scrolling. I also love having memories and moments with loved ones around my house. Or if your mom is like any of my mom friends, maybe there’s an abundance of picture frames in her home featuring some very lovely stock family photos. This printer is perfect for finally getting everything off your phone to enjoy in everyday life.
The Perfect Pajama Set
We all know I’m particular about how things fit. With lots of curves on a shorter body, I’ve learned through lots of trial and error how to make things look the most flattering. This PJ set from Free People is the perfect gift to buy mom for Christmas. The slightly cropped top means you get to draw the eye in and play up the feminine figure. Plus, it’s high-waisted so she’ll look snatched even when she’s cozy.
Stanley 40z Cup
And last but certainly not least, my favorite emotional support water bottle. Or in this case, a giant cup. I could not survive with mine at this point. And unlike the giant hydroflasks, this fits in my car’s cupholders. They come in all sorts of colors but if you haven’t already bought into the obsession, now is a perfect time. The Stanley cup with change your life or at least your mom’s hydration game.
