If you haven’t figured out by now, I’m an investment shopper. I don’t tend to buy a million things. Rather, I like to pick and choose the pieces I feel like I will keep for ages. Unfortunately, this means my Christmas wishlist often ends up as a DREAM wishlist. Nevertheless, I still have a blast putting it together. It’s been nice to see the trends that I’ve loved over the last few years (2017 & 2018). And to be honest, with the exception of my major shift to clean beauty, I’d keep them all the same. So let’s dive into my 2019 Christmas wishlist because I have so many good things to share with you!
1. Beis Dopp Cosmetics Case*
With all the traveling I’ve done over the last few months, I’ve been looking for more ways to minimize my bags. I’m hoping this bag will do just the trick for giving all my hair products and misc. toiletries a home. I’ve been loving and using my Beis makeup bag* for a while now. So I have high hopes this one will be just as fab!
2. Beis The On The Go Essentials Case*
For my shorter flights, I don’t ever bother to pack skincare. It’s just an extra faff. But for our Paris trip, I knew I would need to give my skin a little extra TLC to keep up with the dry plane atmosphere. My current travel bags aren’t quite cutting it but I love this dual sided set from Beis. Plus, it has a mirror so it means I can actually see what I’m applying on my face instead of just guessing. 😂
3. Steve Madden Malibu Pump in Rhinestone*
A pair of shiny heels, is anyone surprised by this choice? I love the simplicity of these shoes but they also manage to still be fun! The perfect way to add a bit of wow to a basic outfit.
4. Sam Edelman Freya Boot in Toasted Coconut*
I’ve been LIVING for the knee high boot trend this season. There’s a few pairs that have made it on my revolve wishlist. But there’s something about this color that screams fall but isn’t so dated that you can’t rock it again in a year. It doesn’t hurt that it’s a Sam Edelman shoe. My fave!
5. Cable Cashmere Pom Beanie*
After severely under-packing for Paris, I’m ready to go overboard with the warm accessories for our NYC trip next month. I love a good pom beanie and this one goes with everything. I’m a little obsessed.
6. Golden Goose Superstar Low Top Sneaker*
I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect white sneaker for a while and these caught my eye. GG has launched SO many versions but I love that these are simple. I’m no stranger in investing in something I love. However, it’s important to me that I get my money’s worth. And these are my 2019 Christmas Wishlist dream sneakers.
7. Yves Saint Laurent Medium Cassandra Croc Satchel*
I’ve recently started adding a line to my goals about wearing designer shoes & handbags. I’ve always had a love for them but I’m making it more of an announced goal in my life. Somehow it seems there’s always a YSL bag on my wishlist. Simple, chic and easily worn with all the things. It’s perfection!
8. Barefoot Dreams In The Wild Throw Blanket*
This feels like the housewarming gift I’ll end up buying myself when we move again. I am my mother’s daughter so of course I love a little leopard print. And of course, I’m here for any excuse to curl up on the couch and be cozy. I get excited just thinking about living that life!
9. APL Women’s Techloom Pro*
One of my 30 before 30 goals is to be able to run a mile. It’s something I’ve never been able to do and with my shift in training this year, it’s been more achievable than ever. I’ve been loving my current running routine but I can feel a need for some new shoes coming. These go with everything. Plus, the brand is highly rated.
10. Athleta Endurance Hybrid Run Jacket*
Do we sense an outfit brewing in this 2019 Christmas wishlist? With my morning outdoor runs, I’ve realized there’s a severe lack in my cold weather workout attire. Athleta has made some of my favorite gym gear so I will definitely be investing in this for myself even if Santa doesn’t.
11. Goop Knock Me Out Chews*
I don’t often reach for a sleep aid. But occasionally, you just need to knock yourself the eff out. Ya know? I’ve tried Som Sleep drinks which I love (discount code: whatsavvysaid). However, while I was building the gift guides, these caught my eye. Perfect for those who struggle to take pills or just want a different alternative when you need a little help going to sleep. My curiosity needs them!
12. Kora Organics Calming Lavender Mist*
As I’ve transitioned into this season of busy-ness, I find I’m reaching more and more for moments of calm. I’m reaffirming my boundaries. And in general, I’m just looking to make sure I have the space where I can decompress. Lavender has always been the scent I reach for when it comes to creating a calm atmosphere. So I love that this exists for that moment when you just need to inhale your calm.
13. Cyropress Ice Roller*
As much as we’d all love to pretend that we get enough sleep, sometimes we need a little extra help. If you wake up and find your face often looks puffy, this is a great way to give your skin some extra love while also making you look like you slept more. Who needs contour when you can use this to bring back your natural bone structure? JK. I will still contour until I die. But I’d also like this too, please.
14. Coffee Body Scrub With Tangerine*
I’ve developed the wonderful habit of buying things for myself off this list before it even gets published. So let’s just pretend this 2019 Christmas wishlist item hasn’t already made an appearance in my shower, shall we? However, in good news, I used it this morning and can report I love it. It’s gentle enough to exfoliate but has coconut oil so you aren’t striping all the moisture from your skin.
15. Dyson Airwrap*
I mentioned this in my luxury clean beauty gift guide but let’s be real. It’s at the top of my 2019 Christmas wishlist. I’ve been working hard to grow out my incredibly fine hair that was once really damaged. But even the best of us can only go for so long rocking the scrunchie trend. So whether or not Santa decides this would make a perfect joint gift for our house *cough mother cough*, I have a feeling I’ll be finding a way to add it into my collection soon enough.
16. Beautycounter Body Butter Trio*
Have we heard how picky I about body lotion? Because it’s a thing. Oils? Yes. Creams? Yes. Cheap lotions with mineral oil that don’t sink into your skin and are toxic for your endocrine system? I’ll pass. Thankfully, this Beautycounter set is just what I need to keep my anti-lotion heart happy. I fell in love with their body butter last year when a friend kindly gave me some for my bday. It’s super lush, makes your skin VERY soft, smells lovely and isn’t full of nasty toxins. I’ll take 3 please.
Whew. I feel like I should have poured a glass of red wine for this one. But that has nothing to do with my 2019 Christmas wishlist and more my excitement about having a glass of red with the chocolate pecan pie from the Celebrations cookbook* next week. It’s the little things.
But I hope you enjoyed this post. And if you’re looking for some inspiration for you own wishlist, I’m happy to be thy guide. I’d love to know in the comments below what you’re loving and wishing for this Christmas. Maybe it’s a big trip or a gorgeous new handbag? Leave me a comment below and let me know! Until next time. Xoxo, Savvy
