What I’m Eyeing From The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Categories Style

It’s that time of the year again. The summer sales are upon us and there are so many great finds. And while the official Nordstrom sale doesn’t start for a few more days, I’ve already got my eyes on a few things. I’m planning to do a couple of posts over the duration of the sale. But today I thought I’d share everything that’s on my wishlist and will potentially be snagging if the price is right. Let’s shop the Nordstrom site, shall we?

1.Soprano Stripe Off The Shoulder Top*

I love a good fitted shirt that’s comfortable and this Soprano top looks like it hits the mark. It’s not too heavy but it’s also something I can dress up or down. Perfect for the rest of summer and going into fall.

2. Alo Ripped Hoodie*

I’m definitely in a cozy shopping mood this week. And I’m also thinking ahead for cooler months. I love this hoodie because it’s not so bulky that you feel frumpy. It doesn’t tend to get too cold too often in Florida so this hoodie is perfect. Cute and also perfect for any travel I have coming up.

3. Billabong Rolled Up Off The Shoulder Sweater*

Another fall top in mind but I just the look. It’s hard to be cute, embrace fall and not sweat to death here. So anything that looks like it’s versatile enough to work with that has my vote. And brown is a color I don’t dabble in too often.

4. Zella Out & About 2 Crop Pants*

With our trip in two week, my mind is also on comfy travel clothes. I love the idea sweat pants that don’t make you feel like you’re in sweats. Does that make sense? Cute, semi-fitted and functional. Plus, on my shorter frame they won’t bunch up at the bottom. Win!

5. Sweaty Betty Summer’s Here Tank*

I’ve been more into cropped shirts lately. Mostly I like to tie mine to hit where I want to pull in my outfit on my waist. But this particular crop is very fitting for my life. No pain. No champagne. Or prosecco in my case. Very accurate.

6. Free People Jordan Burnout Tee*

I’ve had my eye on this shirt for months. I love the deep v with the top still there. I noticed the price dropped recently but if it ends up in the sale, I’ll definitely be adding it to my cart. Gotta love a good staple shirt.

7. BP. Button Front Camisole*

In general I tend to rock a load of basic tees. On my out the door quick days, it’s jeans and a tan. So this camisole is a great fit for my wardrobe. I can pair it with jeans & wedges or a skirt & sandals. So many options!

8. Blanknyc Boyfriend Denim Shorts*

My denim shorts collection is lacking. But I love the look of these distressed jeans. Personally my waist is a size smaller than my hips so finding shorts/pants is challenging. These are definitely ones I’d be willing to try!

9. Free People Love Of My Life Midi Dress*

I can honestly say I don’t have anything else like this dress in my wardrobe. It’s one I know I’d wear for more than one season and can style a few ways. The fitting around the middle is just my style. And the material looks like it’s perfect for my current warmer climate.

10. Surplice Maxi Dress*

I love a bit of color in my life. And this dress is just so much fun! Maxi dresses are my favorite and something I often gravitate towards. The color combo for this one is so fun. And the stripes make you look taller and leaner. Win win!

11. Jeffrey Campbell Atone Sandal*

Most days, I live in my Tory Burch sandals. I’ve gone through 2 pairs in the 4 years I’ve had them. So I’ve been trying to keep my eyes open for other options. And these are my current next buy. I love the bows and the color. They come in a few colors but it’s safe to say I need them in my life.

12. BaubleBar Gabrielle Fringe Earrings*

I’ve been saying for ages that I need more earrings in my life. I typically go for delicate jewelry or really big pieces. And these are just fun enough to win me over. Again, I’m having a moment with yellow. But I love a good statement earring, ya know?

13. Quay Australia Hindsight 67mm Shield Sunglasses*

I’m still obsessed with Quay sunglasses. And while I’m not really on board with the tiny ones. I just don’t get it. I’m here for all the giant sunglasses. I’ve been wearing aviators for years now. But this pair is super fun and just cute enough to make me think about trying a different style. Curiosity always gets the best of me.

14. Street Level Woven Straw Tote*

I can honestly say I’ve had a straw tote on my mind for months. But I’ve struggled to find the right one. Either they look flimsy or I don’t like the weaving. Am I particular? Always. This one by Street Level is a winner. It’s a good size, doesn’t look cheaply made and isn’t too colorful so it goes with everything. I’ve finally found a winner!

15. Tory Burch Small Fleming Leather Convertible Shoulder Bag*

The name for this bag is incredible long but it hasn’t deterred me one bit. Also, I really like the yellow version the best. I’m just going to embrace my color obsession in full. And a yellow leather bag sounds like the perfect addition to my wardrobe.

16. Tata Harper Resurfacing Serum*

I love that Nordstrom has both cute clothes and great beauty brands. My love for Tata Harper products has only grown over the last few months. And this serum is on my wishlist to try next. If you enjoy a bit of serum or want something that will promote cell turnover, this is definitely one to check. Tata’s products are always amazing so I’m excited she’s finally launched this serum into the range.

17. Nurse Jamie UpLife Facial Massaging Beauty Roller*

I first heard about Nurse Jamie products a few years ago. And so far I’ve only managed to get my hands on her lip scrubber. But I love it so much I’m willing to try more. So while I know I’m still under 30, it’s never too early to start taking care of your skin. This roller is great for helping to depuff and give skin that extra lift. It’s definitely something I need in my life.

18. Coola Suncare Signature Travel Kit*

Over the last few months, I’ve fallen more in love with Coola products. From their face primer to their sunscreen, Coola is a staple in my life. So I love the idea of this travel set to add into my beach kit. It has a little bit of everything including my favorite spray on sunscreen. Plus it comes with a fun bag!

19. Wolf Caroline Quilted Jewelry Portfolio*

Because I’m trying to be more versatile with my jewelry and wear more, I know I need to invest in a travel system. I’ve looked at a few but I love that this one is so slim. It’s great for keeping your studs organized and your necklaces detangled. And it doesn’t take up a ton of space!

20. Picnic Time ‘Beachcomber’ Beach Mat*

I’m sure this is one of those things not everyone will find useful. However, I would happily get the use from it. When I do go to the beach, I like to pack a book. But trying to sit and read is awkward depending on the angle. And super bulky chairs aren’t ideal if you’re lugging everything to the beach. This beach mat is the best of both worlds and I will happily buy in the near future!

21. Caslon Drawstring Linen Pants*

Again, I’m still on the cozy train. I don’t know if I’d opt for the white version. But I love linen clothes so these pants would be a welcome addition to my wardrobe. Perfect for summer nights or Saturday morning farmers market runs.

22. Elan Cover-Up Maxi Dress*

I recently saw a friend in a dress super similar to this and I fell in love. It’s the perfect, easy dress that gets you out the door but looks so cute. And it’s great for summer. I’d definitely pair it with some sandals during the day and maybe wedges at night. But I love how relaxed but lovely it looks!

23. Row A Off The Shoulder Maxi Dress*

Still on the maxi train trend here but with good reasons. I love how simple but elegant this dress looks. It’s great for a wedding, night out or even dressed down during the day. The colors are a bit lighter so it’s not too much. And you can easily dress it up or down.

24. Caslon Drawstring Chambray Shorts*

I’m here for the comfy pants. Always. These shorts are as close to loungewear as you can get without rocking pjs out in public. No shame. I love outfit that let you be extra comfortable but still look like you’ve put in the effort. So denim drawstring shorts? Sign me up!

25. Sam Edelman Bay Cutout Slide Sandal*

And of course, I’m always hunting for new sandals. I love Sam Edelman shoes so I have no doubt I’d love these guys. And they come in tons of colors. I’ve got my eyes on the white or black ones. But if you’re looking for some fun colors. you’re sure to find them here.
