There’s something magic that happens when you finally decide you’re over your life. When the version of everything you’ve been living is no longer enough. When you’re finally ready to tear it all down, walk away and build something new. This is the beginning of discovering what happens after the 75 Love reset.
But what happens after you make that choice? How do you build the foundation of who you want to become? Well in my short/long experience of life, it comes with asking a lot of questions. Being willing to hear the answer no matter how hard it may be to say it out loud.
The true changes in our lives often come from the spaces that feel too hard to face. Or at least too hard to face on our own.
What Happens After the 75 Love Reset: Lessons I Learned
When I created 75 Love, it came from a space of “I can’t imagine spending my entire life fighting the same battles”. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to spend decades battling food, limits, or others’ expectations, ignoring the person I’m meant to be. And here’s what happens after the 75 Love reset.
So what do I know for sure after the last 75 days? What has doing this program again affirmed for me?

Change comes with boundaries
There was a time in my life when I didn’t know how to set boundaries AND still feel like I would be loved. It felt like the only solution was to walk away. Escape. Run. Anything but risk that I could take a stand (in whatever version that looked like) and not be gaslighted, made to feel awful, or flat-out ignored.
Now if you’re someone who has learned about being an energetic match for your life and recognizing your own energetic expectations, you might already know there was a pattern underneath this for me. So try as I might, until I healed the wound that went with this pattern, it was a self-fulfilling prophecy repeating like Groundhog’s day. This is exactly what you begin to understand when you see what happens after the 75 Love reset.
Here’s the thing about these kinds of patterns: we continue to attract them until we heal them.
And unfortunately, there’s not a hard written-in-stone rule for this. There are some people you will have to walk away from because their trauma is so deep you won’t be able to step out of yours while living in theirs.
Boundaries in Action
Sometimes boundaries are verbal. They are things you have to flat-out say. But more often than not, boundaries require action. Boundaries are essential to the foundation of who we are. They communicate to ourselves and others what we will and won’t tolerate. And when we don’t respect our own boundaries we tell ourselves that we aren’t taking our choices seriously.
If we don’t respect our own boundaries, the consequences are an inability to trust ourselves. Thus, repeating a cycle of pain, and staying in situations that make us miserable for far too long.
The Courage to Hold Yourself
Setting boundaries is scary because you’re asking yourself two questions. Such as, can I love myself enough to believe that I get to have more? And can I love myself enough to fill the space if this person doesn’t step up?
But when you know that you really can hold you, it becomes easier to stop tolerating the bs you’ve been tired of for a while. Change comes with boundaries but new houses need a strong foundation. And that means your boundaries can’t just be for show. They have to come with actions & consequences.

Hidden Answers and What Happens After the 75 Love Reset
I found myself in a conversation earlier this week where I could answer very honestly or I could give some positive spin on it. I could make the other person feel comfortable or I could say the truth of my heart. And the truth was I was feeling powerless.
Did I know I was feeling powerless or that the energy of this feeling was guiding everything under the surface for me? I had zero clues. But every time we deny ourselves the honesty of our feelings, we also deny ourselves the ability to get help or make change.
Journaling and Self-Reflection: Unlocking Change
I’ve said it a dozen plus times but the journal prompt portion of 75 Love is EVERYTHING. Literally everything. It’s also one of the core practices of the 75 Love. Helping you get clear on your feelings and uncover what’s really guiding your choices. This is a key step in understanding what happens after the 75 Love reset.
If we don’t know what we believe or what we’re feeling or thinking, we stay stuck.
It becomes even harder when we don’t know how to safely have a conversation with ourselves. Or, trust ourselves enough to hear and speak our deepest thoughts.
Pushing it down again and again only leaves us wondering why nothing in our lives changes or improves.
At that point, we become our own biggest obstacle. We stand in the way of everything we want without realizing it—it’s like holding your hand behind your back, looking forward, and asking, “Where is my hand?” To move forward, we have to bring the things we need to see into focus. And that comes from building a relationship with ourselves and creating a space where we feel safe enough to voice those scary/painful/hard-to-admit things out loud.

It Really Doesn’t Need To Make Sense
If you’re going to go after the really big dreams, there’s a 95% chance you’re going to have things happening in rooms you’re not in. Things or going to happen for your good that you’re never going to know about. And it’s more than okay if you’re just taking a step. Because it feels like the step even if you have no clue why you’re feeling led to do so.
Taking the First Step
When I moved to Atlanta at 23, I had no idea how I was going to find/build/make a career in film. But I knew I was supposed to and I knew I needed to be in Atlanta to do so. So I got an apartment, found a 9-5 and over the course of the next year I just kept figuring it out.
I took a class called the P.A. Academy without really knowing what I was taking and that helped me understand where I could find gigs. I did a sad little indie movie that I would never do now. That movie bonded me with the cast who would then go on to ask me to join a 48 Hour Project 8 months later. And that 48 Hour Project did well enough. When I somehow managed to get myself an interview to work at Tyler Perry they asked me about it.
That job led to working on commercials, Ant-Man, Vampire Diaries, Sleepy Hollow, Miracles From Heaven, Allegiant and so many other things. But I never could have told you what the next step was. I just had to take the first one.
The Birth of 75 Love
When I first created 75 Love a few years ago, it was simply a concept. It was an idea born out of the question I shared earlier “am I really going to spend the rest of my life struggling with this”. This being weight, working out, body image, etc.
I couldn’t have imagined that my post would continue to grow until enough of you encouraged me to create what is now a much more structured program that has transformed lives several times.
Honestly, I didn’t know—and probably wouldn’t have. Taking the first step was all I needed to do. You just need to take the first step.

It’s Your Job To Amplify Your Voice
The first round of 75 Love I did this year was focused on attracting soulmate love. I knew that this year I wanted to focus on creating more space for my dream guy, family and life. And at least half of that equation involved me becoming my own soulmate first.
And being a good soulmate means giving weight and space to your own voice.
We learn so much so young that forms us into these human beings running around without knowing who has the controls. So it becomes up to us to look at the experiences we’ve had, where we might have learned to create those experiences, and then recognize that we’ve had the power all along.
We learned it one way so now we just have to learn something different.
Think about it. If you were born knowing and believing that love was easy and available to you, that your body wasn’t the thing that made you worthy of loving, or that you were inherently worthy of being loved simply because God chose to create you, what would that feel like?
Think about the magazine images and the years of passed-down diet culture. Consider the teenage drama written by men who had zero idea of life as a woman. Or, the constant stories of women being pitted against each other. If you didn’t learn any of that in those formative years, who would you be?
There’s a version inside of you who was always meant to exist. The person written on your soul. But that voice has turned into a whisper, into silence because the world felt so loud and no one ever told you that it’s okay if what you believe is different. If what you know to be true is different.

The Journey Is A Marathon Not A Sprint
Often times when we get to the point of wanting to make a change, we forget that there’s time involved in unraveling things. Whether we like it or not, you’ll spend the rest of your life looking at your beliefs, questioning where they came from, and choosing new ones if you’re someone who is looking to continue to level up in life.
I can’t imagine you would be here otherwise
But we each have to learn how we run a marathon. I left my first dream job to move home & be a caretaker at 26, lost my father to suicide and my uncle shortly later at 27, had my home go through a category 5 hurricane at 28, and then lost my step-father at 29 to cancer we had no idea he had. And then, of course, I turned 30 in the year 2020.
Finding the Good in Every Season
What I learned during that time, and life is truly reaffirming for me in this season, is that we have to learn to create the good in every season. To find time for the good. To not spend our lives dwelling on the toughest times or picking ourselves apart to fix us.
You are building a relationship with yourself that will allow you to have even deeper ones with other people. Because whether we realize it or not, the depth of love you are able to feel from others directly corresponds with the love you’re able to feel for yourself.
I recently heard it described as our brains are always onto the next goal. We just keep moving the post. So if we, the conscious humans running the show, don’t take responsibility for acknowledging that it’s okay to take a breath – well nothing good comes from trying to run a marathon at a sprinter’s pace if your body can’t handle it.
